Outdoor BurningIMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Call FFD non-emergency dispatch at 615-794-3411 to report outdoor air quality violations. 
  • Burning brush and trash is prohibited in Franklin. Contact Sanitation & Environmental Services for help disposing of unwanted items. 
  • Campfires and bonfires are allowed with a burn permit
  • No permit is required for above-ground fire pits, chimineas, and smokeless fire pits.
  • Consumer fireworks are prohibited in Franklin.
