I. Clay opened meeting reminding the committee we are meeting about the 5 year Consolidated Plan and the Analysis of Impediments. He is open to questions and suggestions relating to both items.

II. Paul walked the committee thru some housing, income and other statistics for consideration in developing the new 5 year Consolidated Plan with an emphasis on Fair Housing Choice. Requesting input from committee members, Paul discussed some potential patters or trends in the data. The committee had open discussion as Paul presented the power point as it relates to the City of Franklin.

III. The consolidated plan must be submitted to HUD by May 15, 2010. The plan must be completing in time to allow time for review by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on April 6th and approval on the 20th.. The new contract goes into effect July 1, 2010. A second meeting date sixty days out was suggested, date TBD.

IV. The committee reviewed section 4 of the Analysis of Impediments, Identification of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. Clay suggesting the committee read and evaluate for their top priorities. Each member is to email Kathleen their top 3 activities for discussion at the next meeting. Adjourns.
