To have dead animals removed from City streets and the public right-of-way within the city limits of Franklin, call the Sanitation and Environmental Services Department at 615-794-1516. For removal of dead animals on Williamson County or State rights-of-way, contact the Williamson County Solid Waste Department at 615-790-0742.

Licenses are issued by the Tennessee Department of Safety. The Williamson County office is located at 4248 South Carothers Road in Franklin. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. The Engineering Department plans for the future infrastructure needs of the City of Franklin by working with other City Departments, elected officials, and public to ensure that the City's infrastructure is designed and installed properly and that it meets all Local, State and Federal standards and guidelines. There are two Farmer's Markets in the City of Franklin. The East Franklin Farmer's Market, a healthy options only market, is open on Saturdays (9 a.m. - 2 p.m.) year-round. They offer local, organically grown seasonal produce, meats, and baked goods. It is located at 2080 Turning Wheel Lane. The Franklin Farmer's Market is open every Saturday year-round. Their hours vary depending on the season. They offer fruits, vegetables, dairy, and baked goods from local farms as well as crafts from local vendors. They are located at the Factory at Franklin (230 Franklin Road).
