Franklin, TN – Narcotics and Vice Unit Detectives executed a search warrant at 365 Natchez Street this morning in Franklin. Shortly after 9:00 am, SWAT team members forced entry into the residence after the occupants refused to open the door.

The execution of today’s operation was a culmination of an in-depth drug investigation conducted by Franklin Police that revealed the resident, Gene Nevils, was cooking and selling crack cocaine out of his trailer. Nevils, a convicted felon, has been arrested and charged with Manufacturing/Distribution of Schedule II Narcotics. He remains in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $500,000 bond. Nevils is due in court on 09/09/2011 at 2:00 pm. Nevils 09 08 2011

“The sale of illicit narcotics in our city’s neighborhoods is intolerable," said Chief David Rahinsky. "Families deserve as safe, crime-free community where they can thrive and raise their children, and we will continue working hard to ensure that.”
