Steve Grubb was born in Southern Ohio and moved to the Nashville area in 1991.  He worked with Ogden Environmental/Geologic Associates before joining the City of Franklin as a Road Inspector in 1996.  He accepted the role of Assistant Streets Director in 1999 and faithfully served in that position for twenty years.  He is certified as a Public Works Professional through APWA.

Steve thoroughly enjoys serving others.  You can often find him volunteering, coaching, or mentoring throughout the Middle Tennessee area.  When not serving in his local community, he leads teams on various short-term mission trips around the world.

Steve is an outdoor enthusiast.  He especially loves camping, hiking, and backpacking with his family throughout the Rocky Mountains.  His wife Lori teaches Special Education at the high school level.  They have a daughter and a son who both attended Austin Peay State University.
