Hazardous Waste are prohibited from being placed in your rollout container.

Hazardous wastes include any substances that may constitute a hazard to health or may cause property damage. Those reasons include being explosive, flammable, poisonous, corrosive, radioactive, infectious or otherwise harmful to people or equipment.  Household hazardous wastes include substances used in small quantities for household projects. Which include CFL Bulbs along with Fluorescent tubes.

Batteries, Oil, Paint, Antifreeze and Electronics (BOPAE). These recyclables can be recycled year round, at the City of Franklin's Sanitation and Environmental Services Department. BOPAE is located at 417 Century Ct in Franklin, TN. You may contact the SES Department at (615)794-1516 for details.

The Williamson County Landfill, 5750 Pinewood Rd, accepts tires, anti-freeze, motor oil, paint and automotive batteries year round. Contact the landfill office at (615) 790-0742.
