2022 Zoning Ordinance Cleanup

The City of Franklin adopted a new Zoning Ordinance that became effective on December 31, 2019. Since that time, the staff has coordinated an annual update to ensure the zoning map and ordinance stay up-to-date. Most proposed changes are minor adjustments, clarifications, and corrections.

In 2022, the staff examined the location of the Scenic Corridor Overlay (SCO) and is seeking to increase its accuracy on the zoning map. While the text is correct, the staff seeks to correct the boundaries of the SCO on the zoning map. Please refer to chapter 4 of the Zoning Ordinance to read about the SCO.

Check the Interactive SCO Map and zoom into your property. You may also view the interactive zoning map for reference.
