Current Planning Division Services

 The Current Planning Division is charged with the following responsibilities:

• Providing expertise and technical assistance in the review of Annexation Requests, Rezonings, Development Plans, Site Plans, Preliminary Plats, Final Plats, and Construction Documents, among others

• Performing landscape inspections

• Administering performance agreements and sureties

• Answering questions and addresses concerns from residents and stakeholders relating to the technical aspects of city development standards and polices

• Attending neighborhood and community meetings

• Preparing various items and recommendations for consideration by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA), Municipal Planning Commission (FMPC), and Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)
