If a project has not yet met one of the required project milestones and is in jeopardy of losing its vesting an applicant/property owner can request a vesting extension.  Such an extension request must follow the review and approval process of the original plan and must be granted prior to the expiration date. 

To request an extension of your vesting expiration, go to GeoCivix fill out the application and upload a Letter requesting a vesting date extension, with the following information:

• Vested project name and project type (ex. The 123 PUD Subdivision, Development Plan)
• The current expiration date of the project (in month/day/year format)
• The requested extension date (in month/day/year format)
• An explanation of why the project needs an extension, and/or why the project has not yet started site work
• A timeline of milestones, showing how the project will meet the milestone requirements within the requested extension timeframe
• A signature of the property owner, or representative for the ownership entity, with the name clearly listed below signature
