Application Milestones

120 days

An application must be filed within 120 calendar days of the assigned pre-application meeting. This date still applies if the pre-application meeting is waived by staff.

If this deadline is not met, a new pre-application package must be submitted.

10 days/

7 days

A neighborhood meeting application must be sent to the Department of Planning and Sustainability within 10 days of the intended meeting date, and required notification to neighbors must be mailed within 7 days of the meeting.

3 Resubmittals

An applicant must re-submit within three applicable resubmittal dates, as defined on the posted calendar.

If this deadline is not met, then the application will be considered expired, and the applicant must start the review process from the beginning, starting a pre-application submittal.

15 days

Public notification of the item on the FMPC agenda must be mailed within 15 calendar days for all development plans, rezonings, and preliminary plats, and Envision Franklin amendments.

Public notification of the item on the BZA agenda must be mailed within 15 calendar days for all applications.

14 days

An applicant has 14 calendar days from the Administrative Agenda to appeal a condition of approval or decision by DRT. The request must be sent to the Department of Planning and Sustainability.
