The new Southeast Municipal Complex is in the design process currently. The park is a total of 180-acres between South Carothers and Interstate 65. Below is the final master plan design for the park including the area reserved for a future water reclamation facility. In 2020, the City will bid the vehicular bridge portion of the project and will bid the first phase of the plan along with the first public inclusive playground in the City’s parks system. The Inclusive Playground will be a public-private partnership with future designs coming soon in fall 2020. The total project is estimated to be completed in 2024-2025.
