• Fire department attendance is not necessary at your fire/evacuation drill.  However, if you would like to request FFD attendance, please complete the form below at least two weeks before your drill.
• Fire/evacuation drills are required for business occupancies with more than a 500-person occupant load, or more than 100 occupants at the level of exit discharge.  You may be able to justify not doing one if these numbers are not met.  Here is some information that may be helpful: https://codes.iccsafe.org/content/IFC2018/chapter-4-emergency-planning-and-preparedness#IFC2018_Pt02_Ch04_Sec405
• If you conduct a drill on your own, please remember to put your fire alarm system on "test" to avoid accidental dispatch.
• FFD staff will communicate with you by email or phone to confirm our attendance.  Please remember that units always remain in service and scheduled events may be cancelled at any time without notice if necessary for emergency response.
