The Franklin Fire Department's Certified Fire and Explosion Investigators are responsible for conducting investigations to determine the origin and cause of fires that occur in the city. 

FFD investigators work closely with detectives from the Franklin Police Department when there is reason to believe a fire is the result of arson. 

Fire Investigation

If you have information about an intentionally-set fire, you could earn a reward of up to $1,500 from the Tennessee Advisory Committee on Arson and the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office.  Call the Tennessee Arson Hotline number at 1-800-762-3017.
