Registering as a supplier, service provider or contractor (vendor) interested in doing business with the City of Franklin is not required. Vendors are welcome to compete for the City’s business regardless of whether they are registered as a vendor interested in doing business with the City.

Vendors who wish either:

• to be notified by the online sourcing application currently being utilized by the City of Franklin for electronic procurement solicitations of the City’s business opportunities for which the City is using that online sourcing application and for which the vendor wishes to compete (but please note that the City cannot guarantee that a vendor will be notified of every such business opportunity); or
• to use the online sourcing application currently being utilized by the City of Franklin for electronic procurement solicitations to submit their response to City procurement solicitations (i.e., solicitations for quotes, solicitations for bids, requests for proposals and/or requests for statements of qualifications) for which the City is using that online sourcing application

may register their preference for doing so by browsing to https://franklintn.ionwave.net/VendorRegistration/PreliminaryInfo.aspx. There is no fee for the vendor to do so.

Vendors are responsible for keeping their registration current. To do so, please follow the online instructions provided by the online sourcing application. Questions regarding vendor registration offered by the online sourcing application should be addressed to info@ionwave.net (866-277-2645).

Per T.C.A. § 12-4-116, small businesses and minority-owned businesses who wish to compete for the City’s business are not required to receive or respond to any respective procurement solicitation, whether formal or informal, electronically. To request to receive or respond to such procurement solicitation other than electronically, please contact either the department or office issuing the procurement solicitation or the City of Franklin Purchasing Office (purchasing@franklintn.gov; 615-550-6692).
