Project Description

The City of Franklin is partnering with the City of Brentwood to extend East McEwen Drive from Wilson Pike (SR-252) to the Brentwood-Franklin city limits.  This project will include grading for an ultimate 4-lane, median divided street, but will initially be constructed as a 2-lane facility.  This project will include: curb & gutter, a multi-use trail, and street lighting.  This project will require the upgrade of three (3) Columbia Gulf natural gas transmission pipelines.  The costs of this project are being split between the City of Brentwood and the City of Franklin.

The ultimate extension of East McEwen Drive to Pleasant Hill Road and/or Clovercroft Road will be a City of Brentwood project.
