Kids Arts Festival (Pinkerton Park)

Kids Arts Festival offering stage performances, art sale, master classes, art stops, and exhibits.





Arbor Day (Pinkerton Park)

Tree sapling give-aways, tree climbing, family activities, and environmental education.

 


             

Main Street Festival

April 26 - 27, 2025

(Fourth full weekend in April)
Franklin's favorite festival brings more than 150 arts & crafters, dozen of food vendors, live entertainment, and a kids zone to historic downtown.





Touch-a-Truck (Jim Warren Park)

May 16, 2025

(Third Friday in May)

Public Works vehicles and many other awesome trucks to climb on and try out.

 

 


             

Movies in the Park

2024: June 14, 21, 28; July 12,19

Bring a chair or pack a blanket and come to the Park for an evening movie! This free summer movie series will begin at 8PM or at sunset. Check our website or Facebook page (City of Franklin, TN) for locations and updates.





Franklin on the Fourth
July 4, 2025            

Patriotic festival in Downtown Franklin, sponsored by the Franklin Lions Club, with arts, crafts, food, and entertainment.

 

Fireworks

Enjoy an incredible fireworks display at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. There will be music, games food trucks, and concessions.  The Park opens at 6 p.m. Fireworks begin at approximately 9 p.m.

 

             

Bluegrass Along the Harpeth
July 25 - 26, 2025

(Fourth weekend in July)
Musical festival featuring Bluegrass music, fiddling, buck dancing, crafts, food and more.





Pumpkinfest
October 26, 2024

(Saturday before Halloween) 
Middle Tennessee's largest fall festival features arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, children's activities, costume contests for pets and families, and more on America's favorite Main Street.

Free fun, farm activities and entertainment for the whole family.





Wine Down Main Street 

November 2, 2024

A unique wine-tasting event in historic downtown Franklin that benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County.







  


Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

December 6, 2024

(First Friday in December) 

A spectacular event featuring entertainment by local school children; musicians, performers; and Santa Claus.





Christmas Parade sponsored by Downtown Franklin Rotary

December 7, 2024

(First Saturday in December)

The Franklin Christmas Parade is held annually the first Saturday in December. Winding through the streets of Historic Downtown Franklin, the parade is a community celebration of the traditions of the Christmas season.


             

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt

(Eastern Flank Battlefield Park)

December 12- 13, 2024

The grounds are sprinkled with candy canes ready to be eaten...grab your flashlight and help us hunt for the holiday treats!

 





Dickens of a Christmas
December 14- 15, 2024

(Second weekend in December)
This festival will recreate the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Franklin’s Victorian architecture as the backdrop. A variety of musicians, dancers and characters will fill the streets, including several from Charles Dickens’ stories.
