 Thank you for inquiring about a beer permit with the City of Franklin. For your convenience, a link to the application for business and special event permits, as well as some important information is below.   

  • The Beer Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4:30 pm in the City Hall Boardroom.
  • Applications are due 15 days preceding each meeting.  Please select the appropriate application: Business Application or Special Event Application
  • Between meeting dates, temporary permits may be obtained by business applicants contingent upon our review of your completed application including a records check on the managing agent, Fire inspection and Building and Neighborhood Services Department (Codes) inspection.
  • A $250.00 application fee is due to the City of Franklin when application is submitted.  Additionally, business applicants must remit a prorated privilege tax payment with their submission.  Please see application for additional information. 

 Please see the City Code related to alcohol.  Title 8 Chapter 2 is specific to Beer.
