Jason Potts is a healthcare professional and proven community leader. He and his wife, Amy, have lived in Franklin for 16 of their 20 years of marriage. Their three (3) children have attended schools in both the Franklin Special School District and Williamson County School systems.
Jason has served for 15 consecutive years in both elected, appointed and volunteer capacities in Franklin and middle Tennessee.
Jason currently serves on the City of Franklin’s Budget and Finance Committee, Franklin Housing Commission and Beer Board.
Jason is a graduate of the City of Franklin – Citizens Government Academy. He is a founding member of the Franklin Alliance of Home Owners Associations for Ward 3. He served in numerous roles on the Maplewood Home Owners Association: President (2 terms), Vice-President, Pool Chairman and Open Space & Lake Chairman. Jason started Maplewood’s partnership with the Franklin Police Bike Safety Program.
Jason has served on the Board of Directors for the following organizations: Middle Tennessee State University Alumni Association (2 terms); Spina Bifida Association; Williamson County Soccer Association and Boys & Girls Club.
Outside of aldermanic duties, he serves on the Centennial High School Cougar Athletic Club Board of Directors and The African-American Heritage Society of Williamson County. He and his family are active members of Rolling Hills Community Church.
