Free Shredding of Personal documents

Identity theft is becoming more and more common everyday and you can do things to help ensure that it does not happen to you. One of the best ways is to shred all personal documents containing information about you and your investments, where you work, insurance, etc.

Free Shredding of personal documents that could be used for identity theft:

• Investments Statements (mutual funds, IRA's, stocks, etc.)
• Canceled Checks
• Credit Card Statements
• Pay Check Stubs
• Insurance Documents
• IRS Forms

Papers that do not contain a personal identification number will NOT be accepted (such as newspaper, magazines and photos).

Please bring your documents in paper bags or cardboard boxes that can be recycled. Documents in plastic bags will not be accepted.

Remove heavy metal: clips/clamps, 3 ring binders, wire binding. Documents with paper clips and staples are accepted.

Hard bound documents should be no larger than one inch thick. Thicker bundles jam the shredder.
