The Franklin Fire Department will offer a free CPR class on Tuesday, December 2 at the Ag Expo Center, which will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. Class space is limited. Please call 615-791-3270 to sign up.
Franklin Fire Lt. Sean Smith, who is an American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructor, will provide instruction on adult Hands-Only® CPR, child and infant CPR, AED use, and relief of choking.
Lt. Smith wanted to offer the class as a way to thank residents of Ladd Park and the surrounding area for all of the meals they’ve prepared for the firefighters over the past few months.
Recommended for those age 12 and older, the class is non-credentialed, meaning no course card will be awarded upon completion. Those who need to be credentialed as a lay responder should take a Heartsaver® course instead of this one.
