The City of Franklin is sponsoring its second annual 5k Cross Country Fun Run at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm on Saturday, November 10th. The Run, being held in conjunction with Family Day, includes a 5k run and dog dash, and a 3k walk/K-9 Kruise. The Park is located at 239 Franklin Road (across from the Factory). Registration is $20.00 per person with or without dog; $15.00 for kids 12 and under; or $50.00 for family or organization groups (up to four). Walkers with or without their dogs will pay a $10.00 registration fee. All dogs must be kept on leash. There will be a $5.00 fee if you register the day of the event. All proceeds will go to United Way.

The 5K Fun Run begins at 8:30 a.m.; the Dog Dash begins at 8:45 a.m.; and the walk begins at 9 a.m. For those who don’t pre-register, registration is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Registration forms and course maps are available at our website at www.FranklinTN.gov/parks.
