Police Seek Armed Robbers Who Fired Shot During Getaway

Franklin, TN – Franklin Police are seeking information on an armed and dangerous trio of men who robbed a gas station clerk at gunpoint early this morning.
At 3:30am, three masked black males entered the Mapco at 2408 Goose Creek Bypass. Once inside, they immediately approached the lone clerk and demanded that he empty the register. At least two of the men were armed with semi-automatic pistols.
During their getaway, and for reasons unknown, one of the suspects fired a shot outside of the gas station.
No one was hurt during the robbery. Anyone with information is urged to contact Franklin Police.
