Fireworks Show

Fireworks, Music and Fun Happening at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm

Music at 6pm, City of Franklin Fireworks begin at 9pm

The City of Franklin, WAKM, and Friends of Franklin Parks are partnering to enhance the Fireworks show at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm, at 239 Franklin Road, with live music and refreshments at Tractor Supply Co. Arena in the park.

Thousands of residents come to The Park at Harlinsdale farm to park their cars and enjoy the fireworks show.  Now Friends of Franklin Parks are encouraging folks to get out of their cars and enjoy the show from the prime viewing area inside the Tractor Supply arena!

“We are so happy to partner with Friends of Franklin Parks and make the holiday more fun for the families of Franklin,” said Parks Director Lisa Clayton.  “The City and WAKM have worked to make the show longer, now people can get there early, eat and listen to some music while waiting for the skyshow, our staff works hard to make sure our residents enjoy the holiday!”

"We work closely with the Parks Department, and together we saw an opportunity to do something extra for all the people who come to watch fireworks at Harlinsdale. With this beautiful arena, permanent restrooms and a concession stand, we now have a facility that can make the July 4th event more comfortable for families," said Dr. Monty McInturff, president of Friends of Franklin Parks. “Offering great music and great food will enhance the whole Independence Day experience for the entire family."

Gates to the park open at 5 pm with the Music, Food and Fun starting at 6 p.m., Events and Catering by Suzette will be grilling burgers, brats and hot dogs at the concessions stand, and cold beverages and treats will be available for purchase. This year, Mantra Artisan Ales will be there pouring their locally brewed ales. Guests can grab a seat on the terraced berm or set up blankets and chairs in the arena. At 6:00 pm, live music will begin with The Frank Hurd Band and then local favorite Rubiks Groove will keep the entire family entertained until the fireworks show which begins just after 9 pm.

Keep an eye on the City and Friends of Franklin Parks Facebook pages for any weather-related updates.

The Independence Day event is free and open to the public, with food and beverage available for purchase. Donations to the non-profit Friends of Franklin Parks will be appreciated, and proceeds will be used to make further improvements to the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Friends of Franklin Parks is currently raising funds to add additional amenities to the Tractor Supply Co. Arena, other structures at Harlinsdale Farm and work on connecting our parks through trails and a riverwalk.

Presenting Sponsors for the Music inside the Tractor Supply Arena are Coca Cola, and Mantra Artisan Ales.
