Owners of non-residentially zoned property in Franklin’s Floodway Fringe Overlay are invited to attend one of three informational meeting explaining current floodplain zoning regulations. The City has identified more than 150 properties that are in, or partially in, the City’s Floodway Fringe Overlay.

Owners will be notified to attend a meeting on one of the following dates:

• Monday, February 27, 6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, February 29, 6:00 p.m.
• Monday, March 5, 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the meetings is to explain permitted uses of these properties; rebuilding of existing structures; and the re-use of vacant structures within the Floodway Fringe Overlay. If a resident cannot attend their designated meeting they may come on another date.
