The Franklin Fire Department will host an open house on Saturday, September 9th, at Franklin Fire Station 7, 1972 John Fitzgerald Drive, from 10 AM to 2 PM. There will be tours of the station, which includes a Williamson Health EMS ambulance wing, and emergency vehicle and equipment demonstrations.  The free event will begin with a brief 9/11 ceremony featuring the Franklin Fire Department’s Honor Guard and bagpiper Todd Boswell.  It will be followed by a live burn demonstration from the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office.  Enjoy grilled hot dogs, courtesy of Atmos Energy, ice cream from the Friends' Treat Truck, giveaways for children and adults, and more!
