Envision Franklin ‘Factory District’ Community Workshop

Notice is hereby given that a community workshop regarding a future Factory District will take place on February 16, 2023 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Liberty Hall in the Factory at Franklin located at 230 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN 37064. As a part of the upcoming Envision Franklin 5-year comprehensive update, the BOMA has asked staff to engage the community in identifying a vision for the Factory and surrounding properties. This will be a highly interactive public engagement opportunity for citizens to provide input into the future of this area. 

This effort will focus on placemaking and could include provisions for on-street parking along Liberty Pike or adding landscaped medians, pedestrian streetscape enhancements, connections to Harpeth Industrial Court, and encouragement of public art and creativity that could complement the area. It may also include considering additional land uses, the boundaries of which will also be determined through this process. The staff seeks to ensure an inclusive dialogue with property owners, citizens, and decision makers.
