Q: What is the difference between City Projects and Development Projects?
A: City Projects, also called Capital Improvement Projects (CIP), are projects that are funded and/or managed by the city or other governmental agency.
Development Projects are projects that are funded and/or managed by a private entity.

Q: What department do I submit Development or City Project plans to?
A: City Projects are submitted to the Engineering Department with a transmittal letter. To find out what size and how many sets to submit please contact the project manager.
All Development project plans are submitted to the Building & Neighborhood Services Department.

Q: Where do I pay my Fees?
A: The only fees paid in the Engineering Department are Stormwater and Grading Permit fees.

A: No.

Q: How long does it take to select a low bidder?
A: Typically, the bids are checked and tabulated within a week after the bid was publicly opened.

A: Look on the Engineering webpage under Construction Bid Notices/RFQ/RFP or contact the Engineering Department.
