IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

  • Both Franklin Fire and Franklin Police have Child Passenger Safety Technicians.
  • Our availability is limited; we do not have technicians available every day.
  • Call first to see if a technician is available.
    • Franklin Fire (same-day appointments only)
      • Call 615-550-6899, from 8 AM to 3 PM, the day you'd like your seat checked to schedule a same-day appointment.
    • Franklin Police (advance appointments available)
  • If you are in need of a car seat and can't afford to purchase one on your own, please contact the Williamson County Health Department at 615-465-5335.

    Car seat recommendations from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are more stringent than the Tennessee state law requirements (below), but are considered best practice and safest for your child.  Review the NHTSA recommendations.
